TIMPI Node Hosting Community Run Node as a Service

I’m offering a small number of community hosted TIMPi node slots for members looking for a simple and transparent alternative to self hosting or commercial Node as a Service platforms.

This TIMPi Node as a Service offering is run by an active supporter of the project and Discord moderator, with the aim of helping more community members participate without needing to manage hardware, power, updates, or ongoing maintenance.

This is not a mass hosting operation or a generic NaaS platform. It’s a community run TIMPi node hosting option, created to support the network and make participation easier for those who want it.

What This TIMPi Node Hosting Service Supports

This Node as a Service offering is designed specifically for TIMPi and supports the following node types Guardian nodes Collector nodes GeoCore monitoring and network services Synaptrons are not supported. Capacity is intentionally kept limited to maintain reliability, stability, and proper oversight.

Community Run Hosting Model

All nodes are hosted from a private home environment built to enterprise grade standards. This approach allows for flexibility, transparency, and direct communication with the person running the infrastructure. The hosting setup includes Dedicated enterprise hardware No shared VPS environments Redundant networking UPS backed power with graceful shutdown Dedicated resources per node with no oversubscription Linux hardened hosts Continuous monitoring and alerting Backup and recovery processes The focus is long term uptime and reliability rather than scale.

Uptime Monitoring and Visibility

Visibility and transparency are important parts of this TIMPi node hosting service. Uptime dashboards are provided for GeoCore and Guardian nodes. Collector nodes can be viewed via the TIMPi management page, with additional host level monitoring in place. Nodes are actively monitored, and issues are addressed quickly when they arise. Clear communication is provided if any incidents occur.

Rewards Split and Hosting Terms

The rewards and hosting terms are designed to be simple, transparent, and fair. Rewards are split as follows: 70 percent to the host provider 30 percent to the NFT owner The NFT owner retains full ownership of the NFT and receives their share of rewards based on this split. Additional terms: Minimum term of 30 days Month to month thereafter Transparent reward reporting To ensure rewards are captured correctly, nodes must be fully set up and confirmed operational by the 25th of each month. Nodes onboarded after this date may be included in the following reward cycle.

Who This TIMPi Node Hosting Option Is For

This community run TIMPi Node as a Service option is suited to Community members and NFT owners looking for a simple alternative to self hosting Those who do not currently have suitable hardware or time to manage nodes People who prefer a community run option rather than a commercial Node as a Service platform Anyone who wants to stay involved with TIMPi while leaving infrastructure management to someone they can communicate with directly There is no pressure or hard sell. This is simply an option for those who find it useful.

Optional Validator Staking

Once rewards are received, node owners may choose to stake their tokens with a Neutaro validator of their choice. If helpful, I also operate a Neutaro validator that currently offers approximately 17 percent staking rewards, with a 5 percent validator commission deducted. Staking is entirely optional and has no impact on node hosting. You are free to use any validator you prefer. View validator on Neutaro Explorer

TIMPi Guardian and Collector Node Status

This status page provides live visibility into the TIMPi nodes hosted and operated as part of this community-run setup.

I run my own TIMPi NFT and also host nodes for a small number of community members who have been involved since the early days of the project. In addition, I currently host TIMPi infrastructure for core coordinators supporting the Middle East region.

The status information shown here reflects the nodes that can be publicly displayed today. At present, collector node status is not yet visible, however this is actively being worked on and will be added once monitoring and permissions are finalised.

This page is intended to provide transparency around uptime and availability, while respecting network and operational constraints.
